DR Construction is a family-rooted building firm based in Ruislip, with over 30 years of work across NW London and the western Bucks border. The business was set up by Dan, a bricklayer by trade and a second-generation builder whose father was in the trade before him. The team has grown around him over the years to six to seven people covering every core building trade. FMB-registered, VAT-registered, and fully insured.
Bathroom refurbishments sit at the centre of what we do today, but the team handles the full range of building work: wet rooms, extensions, loft conversions, full home refurbishments, new builds, driveways and garage conversions. We work on commercial and domestic property alike, with every core trade (tiling, plumbing, fixture-fitting, carpentry, electrics, decorating, brickwork) under one in-house team rather than subcontracted out to whoever's free that week.
Most of our work comes through repeat clients and word of mouth from people we've built for previously. We treat every job like our own home, and we stand behind the work after the build is done. A two-year-old DR Construction bathroom that develops a problem still gets a visit, not a brush-off. That's the way the business has been run for 30 years, and it's not something we're planning to change.

The team includes the full range of core building trades in-house, with brickwork and masonry handled by Dan, whose original trade is bricklaying. Most of our work comes through repeat clients and referrals.
How much will building work cost?
Cost depends on scope, size, finish and the property type. A small bathroom refurbishment on its existing layout is a different price point to a multi-room extension with new kitchen and bathroom included. We don't publish fixed prices because no two projects are alike, and quoting unseen would mean either over-quoting or under-quoting.
